Titles/ Credits

Brief Encounter:

Sherlock Holmes:
Even though Sherlock Holmes was set in a different time period it we find it still has an old look to the title sequence for the 1930's.

*we wanted to go for an old look, to go with the style of our chosen genre.
*Ink splats to go with the old letter she finds.
*We liked the old sepia style.
*old paper.
*Tea stained.
*dark ink.
*when looking at the writing: i like the curly calligraphy.

Harry Potter:
*old paper.
*foot prints follow down the page.
*ink and sketching.
*under water ink, flowing out.

Namesake:

0-41 seconds in.

*i looked at this because the textured background.
*Also the way the writing appears slowly as if someone was drawing it.
*Also the way it moves slow down ad if looking at a painting .

  1. Good research but be wary of the time period - sherlock Hlmes is set far earlier than the 1940s. Why not use Brief encounter as an example as this is the exact period you are using.
